Salesforce Administration [Part-Time]

Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time Salesforce Administrator to manage and support a portfolio of up to 6 nonprofits clients. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and developing a well-defined backlog of work for each client and ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery. You’ll help break down complex problems and collaborate with both clients and internal teams to develop creative solutions that drive efficiency and impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, sustainable Salesforce solutions for clients, delivering features and fixes with long-term viability.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring timely response to support requests and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to scope projects and gather requirements, developing a robust backlog of work.
  • Deliver excellent training and documentation to ensure client teams can adopt and use Salesforce effectively.
  • Respond to client support needs, managing requests and addressing issues with professionalism and speed.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party tools, including marketing platforms, forms, and payment processors.
  • Configure Salesforce to meet (and exceed) client needs while collaborating with Fortafy staff and other stakeholders.
  • Attend team and client meetings during core business hours (9a-5p CST), with some flexibility for part-time availability.

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with daily exposure to Salesforce setup, customization, and configuration.
  • Proficiency building automations through Flow required.
  • Experience with Experience Cloud, Account Engagement, Donor Management tools are highly favorable.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required, with additional certifications a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience working with nonprofits in Salesforce, preferably with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) required. 
  • Salesforce Developer experience (Apex, SOQL, Javascript) is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues and present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

 Salary: $60 – $75 per hour, based on experience.
